This Monday (7/26) on Live from the Fallout Shelter, Sandown, NH's The Brave Little Abacus will be gracing our studio. These guys are pretty much insane pop/emo/spaz rock and will definitely catch your attention...in a good way. This band is for fans of Math the Band, Cap'n Jazz, Sunny Day Real Estate and stuff like that. So make sure you tune in this Monday from 8 to 11pm. The band will be on at 930pm.

Hey sorry for the short notice but Fallout Shelter is going to need some DJ's to sub for the show. I will be at Modest Mouse in Boston, Derek will be at work and Ali is stranded somewhere in South Carolina. There is a live band playing tomorrow night: The Brave Little Abacus (http://www.myspace.com/thebravelittleabacus)

The way the show goes is the band shows up at 7 (hopefully the dj's show up at this time or shortly after) they set up, then the show starts at 8, the band usually starts sound checking around 845 - 9 and goes on the air to play from 930 to 10ish. After that you go back into playing music, interview the band at around 5 minutes after they stop playing and then just play music until 11.

We play any kind of music. Sean Cahalin will be there to do live sound. So pretty much as a DJ you are looking at being there at 730, djing 8 - 930, djing 10 - 11 with a band interview in there somewhere.
